The most common form of ceramic coating. Paint coatings cover the entire surface of your vehicle and create a hydrophobic layer to prevent water spot damage. It gives your car a glossy finish that makes it look brand new.
Wheel coatings include the face and barrel and the rubber tire. Ceramic coating on the wheel restores and protects the hard plastics, increasing the lifespan of the wheel.
Ceramic coating on leather gives fade resistance, prevents sun damage, dye transfer from clothing, water damage, and oil damage from the skin or other oily surfaces. Lifespan: 1-2 years.
Ceramic coated glass repels all water from sprinklers, rainfall, snow, ice, to muddy water. It has increased durability from rocks and other airborne objects. Lifespan: Up to 2 years.
If the car is maintained properly, a properly applied ceramic coating should last 3-5 years. We do not recommend going through automatic car washes because it greatly decreases the coating’s lifespan. You should get a professional detailer to wash your car at least every 2 weeks.
Wax is a surface level protectant that lasts maybe a few months at most. It’s not as scratch resistant and generally does not have hydrophobic properties like ceramic coating. To receive any protective benefits, you must apply wax far more often than ceramic coating, which adds up in price.
You must remove embedded surface contaminants and correct any paint imperfections such as swirls and scratches before applying the ceramic coating. This includes a 2-bucket hand washing and a 1-step paint correction. These two steps together typically take about 4-6 hours to complete. We recommend a detailer to apply ceramic coating for you.
